Baron Geddon is a powerful fire elemental loyal to Ragnaros. He, along with General Garr, served as one of the jailers for the Windseeker, Thunderaan.
Biography
Chapter Four: Homecoming
Baron Geddon, along with his cohort General Garr, were summoned by Velameestra Windrunner using a gate scroll that the giantess Thrúd had acquired from the Oracle so that they could be defeated in order to free the great elemental lord, Thunderaan. While the pair had been confident they could secure victory over the mortals that had summoned them—especially with a portal to the Firelands open—they were ultimately vanquished by the Alliance party in the resulting combat.
In a final attempt to destroy the victors before Geddon was cast back to the Firelands to reform by a smite from Uther Menethil's hammer, he tore open his chest in order to cause a massive explosion. However, there was no lasting damage done by the blast.
