M'uru was a naaru who fought to free the draenei from their genocide at the hands of the orcs of Draenor. Though his life was saved by Remnii, he was eventually brought into Legion custody, where his powers were bent to open the Dark Portal between Draenor and Azeroth.
Appearance
Like all naaru, M'uru's body was a very distinctive pattern that would continue to grow for his entire life. Though he would glow a soft, pastel pink at full strength, he had taken a darker tone after succumbing to a great deal of physical stress, as he began to slowly shift into a darkened life cycle. This was also evident by the tarnished look that showed across his appendages, instead of the luminescent luster that it once held.
Personality
M'uru was a curious naaru that took great pleasure in small beauties. He appreciated harmonious sound even more than most naaru, and often listened to birds chirping, rainfall, or the lapping of water on a shoreline. He was slow to anger and had an exceptional gift for precognition - some draenei believe he even had the ability to see visions of the future, not unlike the Velen.
Biography
Chapter One: Matters of Life and Death
Mu'ru was one of the naaru present during the Battle of Tempest Keep when the population of draenei on Draenor attempted to escape on the Exodar to escape slaughter at the hands of the Horde. After the battle, he ultimately went into hiding and did not escape on the Exodar when it took off. Remnii was aware of his presence within the ruins of Tempest Keep, and eventually she came forth about his location to Arthak, who then used it as a bargaining piece with the Horde.
The revelation put the group on a path to track down and defeat Mu'ru. However, the naaru aided the warband in defeating the eredar Socrethar and his demonic armies when they attacked with the aid of the Burning Legion.
