Chapter Three: The Scales Tip

Following the invasion of Azeroth, Sagaz continued to serve as an assistant to the various members of Arthak Saurfang's leadership within the Broken Blade, ultimately learning to some degree from all of them. However, after the introduction of the necrolyte Halno, who had been sent into Arthak's midst as a "gift" to be used against the elven mages, the opportunity was offered for Sagaz to learn from him in order to nurture his latent magical abilities.

The arrangement was ultimately two-fold. Sagaz would serve as Halno's assistant while learning what the old orc had to teach, in addition to observing the necrolyte on Arthak's behalf. It was an arrangement the young orc happily agreed to.

Due to his new role as Halno's assistant, he accompanied Halno to the first meeting of Arthak's Clipped Wing coalition at Stormreaver Spire, and he was present when the Thalassian Resistance ambushed the meeting. While Gramgun Laughingeye focused on getting both him and Azuka to safety, he actively used his rapidly forming magical abilities to help aid in the fighting.
