Testament Greymane, otherwise known as Tess Stone, is the princess of the human city of Gilneas and has been on the run for the majority of her life after her father sent her beyond the Greymane Wall in the hopes of sparing her from the effects of the worgen curse. Unfortunately, she discovered later that she had, in fact, been afflicted.

Biography

Tess was born as the youngest child of Genn and Mia Greymane, the king and queen of Gilneas. When she was very young the worgen curse began to break out in the kingdom. The king, worried about his daughter and wife’s safety, sent them to another town beyond the borders of the Greymane Wall with the promise that he would find a way to inform them when it was safe to return. They were accompanied by Mia's handmaiden, Refia Karver and Refia's daughter, Lorelei, as well as the royal chemist, Krennan, who was actively searching for a cure to the worgen curse.

Tess and Lorelei became very close friends over the years they spent beyond the Wall, though they would frequently sneak out at night in order play and see what adventures they could find. One such adventure ultimately led to Lorelei's death, as Tess had contracted the curse and killed Lorelei when she transformed. The gruesome scene was uncovered by Krennan the next morning, and he vowed to protect Tess the best he could while he continued to search for a cure.

During the years they traveled, Tess helped Krennan in his research while he kept a watchful eye on her with the aid of Mia to ensure she would not lose herself to the curse again. Rafia, however, never fully forgave Tess for the death of her daughter.
