Theo Goldensword was the son of Finnall Goldensword, and a member of the Aurum Blades.
Description
Theo was clearly mostly high elf, and by most accounts would likely be mistaken for a pure quel'dorei. However, close scrutiny did reveal the slight human lineage from his mother's side. As he grew older he started to take more after his father, Kael'thas Sunstrider, with his high cheekbones and striking cerulean eyes, which was one of the prominent clues Velameestra Windrunner used to guess at his lineage.
Theo was calm and kind, and was not quick to anger. He spoke his mind frequently, but was a careful listener, and was not afraid to admit he was wrong. He knew that he has much to learn, and was eager to learn it. He admired his mother and grandmother, and sought to be as good of a leader as they were someday as he eventually intends to lead the Aurum Blades.

Chapter Three: The Scales Tip
Chapter Five: Civil War
Theo was present along with his mother, Finnall Goldensword, at the Aurum Blades camp in the Bulwark as the mercenary group had been actively aiding in the defenses against the orcish Horde. In the absence of Thaxdorlin, Theo had been elevated to Finnall's second-in-command. He was glad to realize the rumors around Velameestra Windrunner's demise and Gilveradin Windrunner's treachery had been exaggerated, and ultimately took the news that Thaxdorlin had actually been a disguised dragon in good spirits, as he found the notion of there being hidden dragons in the world to be a cool one.
He was stunned when Finnall revealed who his father was, as Velameestra had approached her for confirmation after she put what clues she had together and encouraged Finnall to allow Theo to have a relationship with the second half of his bloodline if he so desired it. However, he was receptive to meeting Kael'thas, though expressed that he wanted to continue helping the Aurum Blades and fighting alongside the other mercenaries and he had no desire to be named as a prince.
When Kael'thas was brought to Finnall's tent to also be introduced to the son he had no idea he had, he asked what Theo ultimately wanted, and Theo replied that getting to know Kael'thas was a good place to start, and they spent some time playing Hearthstone and otherwise getting to know each other while Finnall and Velameestra looked on. The first meeting had gone well, and while Kael'thas was ultimately pulled away by other responsibilities, he promised Theo that he would remain in touch and would eventually introduce him to his phoenix, Al'ar.

Trivia
- Theo's innate sorcerous gift resembles the fiery magic of a phoenix, and was likely spawned from the bond his father had forged with the phoenix Al'ar.
