Demon
Demons were immortal beings that were directly linked to the cosmic plane known as the Twisting Nether, and as a result veer towards chaos and discord and have an innate connection to fel magic. True demons have a demon soul, which can reform in the Nether if they are slain outside of it. Those who have been changed by fel magic but do not have a demonic soul are called fiends.
Types of Demons
There are a variety of different demonic types, some of which were spawned from the Twisting Nether, while others were non-demonic species that fell victim to its corrupting nature.
| Type | Description | Origin | Homeworld |
|---|---|---|---|
| Annihilan (or pit lords) | Natural | None | |

Demonic Worlds
Due to the consuming nature of the Twisting Nether, entire planets can become lost to its chaotic expanses, which can convert the world into a fel-touched wasteland ruled by the demonic denizens of the Nether.
