Channel Divinity
3rd-level Oath of the Ancients feature
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Channel Divinity: Blessing of Nature
You can use an action to be recognized by nature as one of its protectors for the next hour. For the duration, you gain advantage on Convince checks made to influence creatures with primal spellcasting as well as beast and plant creatures. If you fail a Animal Handling or Nature check during this time, you can end the blessing as a reaction to succeed instead.
Channel Divinity: Nature's Grasp
As a Magic action, you can expend one use of your Channel Divinity to conjure spectral vines around nearby creatures. Each creature of your choice that you can see within 15 feet of yourself must succeed on a Strength saving throw or have the Restrained condition for 1 minute. A Restrained creature repeats the save at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
If the creature is of a type you can sense with your Divine Sense, it is incapacitated while it is Restrained or until it takes damage. While incapacitated in this way, it automatically fails the saving throw at the end of its turn to end the Restrained condition.
If the creature's true form is concealed by an illusion, shapeshifting, or other effect, that form is revealed while it is turned.
Aura of Warding
7th-level Oath of the Ancients feature
Beginning at 7th level, ancient magic lies so heavily upon you that it forms an eldritch ward. You and friendly creatures within your aura have resistance to necrotic, psychic, and radiant damage.
Woad Sentinel
15th-level Oath of the Ancients feature
Starting at 15th level, you have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.
Additionally, the primal magic that you wield causes you to age more slowly. For every 10 years that pass, your body ages only 1 year, and you can't be aged magically.
Elder Champion
20th-level Oath of the Ancients feature
At 20th level, you can assume the form of an ancient force of nature, taking on an appearance you choose. Your skin might turn green or take on a bark-like texture, your hair might become leafy or moss-like, or you might sprout antlers or a lion-like mane. As a bonus action, you gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Diminish Defiance. Enemy creatures within in your aura have disadvantage on saving throws against your spells and Channel Divinity options.
- Regeneration. At the start of each of your turns, you regain 10 hit points. During this time, if you put a severed body part of yours–including your head–back in place when you use this feature, the part reattaches.
- Swift Spells. Whenever you cast a paladin spell that has a casting time of 1 action, you can cast it using a bonus action instead.
Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest, unless you spend 5 mana to use it again.
