Wizard: Transmuter
Original Source: Player's Handbook
Transmutation Savant
2nd-level Transmuter feature
Choose a 1st-level Transmutation spell from the Wizard spell list. Add this spell to your spellbook in addition to the spells you normally learn each level. Whenever you gain the ability to cast Wizard spells of a new level, you may choose another Transmutation spell from the Wizard Spell list of that level or lower and add it to your spellbook.
In addition, the gold and time you must spend to copy Transmutation spells into your spellbook is halved.
Minor Alchemy
2nd-level Transmuter feature
As in the Player's Handbook with the following added:
You can alternatively cause short-term, acute alchemical transformations instead. As a Bonus Action, you can touch a weapon, armor, or shield and change its composition for 1 minute. If the item is being wielded by an unwilling creature, make a melee spell attack against the creature. On hit, choose one of the following options:
- Adamantine Armor. A metal shield or armor becomes adamantine. During this time, its weight is doubled, it is indestructible, and a critical hit against its wielder becomes a normal hit.
- Adamantine Weapon. A metal weapon counts as adamantine for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity. During this time, its weight is doubled, it deals critical damage to objects and is indestructible.
- Brittle Weapon. A weapon becomes brittle and unreliable. The weapon loses its magical bonus to attack and damage rolls. If it doesn't have one, weapon attacks made with it deal only half damage for the duration, and is destroyed on a natural 1 if it is a not magical.
- Brittle Shield. A set of armor or a shield becomes weak and flimsy. Reduce the armor bonus from the armor or shield by half (rounded down.)
- Silvered Weapon. A metal weapon counts as silver for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity.
You can use the acute transmutation feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses of it when you finish a long rest.
