Biography

Chapter Four: Homecoming

During investigations by the Alliance party into the lack of contact by the scout-captain Sarona, who had lead a party of Rangari to investigate and salvage the Exodar crash site, it was discovered that the teleportation circle upon the Exodar had been tampered with in order to redirect teleportation to the crash site of the vector coil on Bloodmyst Isle. In the process, it was also discovered by Medivh that Sarona and the Sargerai traitor, Sironas, were in-fact one-and-the same.

According to an interrogation of the sand troll assassin Zathra the day prior, Sironas had been leading the demonic forces active on Bloodmyst Isle and was responsible for a great many of the fel experiments and mutations present on the isle, including the twisted and tormented ur'zuls the party had encountered.

Death

When the party used the connection of the altered teleportation circle as a beacon to teleport to the heart of the Bloodmyst operations, Sironas was there to meet them—having started to tamper with and overload the vector coil with the aid of Malus and his Hidden, as well as the bounty hunter Imonar the Soulhunter. However, in the conflict that followed, Imonar was destroyed and sent back to the Twisting Nether to reform, and Malus escaped with his crew members once the tides started to turn—leaving Sironas to face them alone. In the moments before her death, she revealed the name of her master—Tichondrius—and that the kaldorei would fall along with their "precious world tree."

While she was an eredar, her transition had not been completed and she lacked an immortal demon soul. Thus, her death was final, and she would not reform in the Twisting Nether.

Traits

Fiendish Ancestry. Sironas has Advantage on saving throws against being Charmed, and magic can't put her to sleep.

Hunter's Aim. Once per turn, when Sironas makes a ranged attack with her longbow and hits, the target takes an extra 28 (8d6) damage.

Actions

Multiattack. Sironas makes three longbow attacks or two scimitar attacks.

Scimitar. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 8 (1d6 + 5) slashing damage.

Longbow. Ranged Spell Attack: +10 to hit, range 150/600 ft., one target. Hit: 9 (1d8 + 5) piercing damage.

Bonus Actions

Alchemical Arrows. As a Bonus Action, Sironas attaches an alchemy tube to the shaft of one arrow before firing her longbow. On a successful hit, the alchemy tube shatters and does one of the following:

  • Concussive. The target takes an extra 18 (4d8) thunder damage and must succeed on a DC 16 Strength saving throw or be knocked Prone.
  • Entangling. The target takes an extra 18 (4d8) acid damage and is Restrained by sticky, alchemical goo. As an Action, the Restrained target can make a DC 16 Strength check, bursting through the goo on a success. The goo can also be attacked and destroyed (AC 10; hp 5; immunity to piercing, slashing, poison, and psychic damage).
  • Explosive. The target takes an extra 18 (4d8) fire damage and catches fire, taking 7 (2d6) fire damage at the start of each of its turns. The target can end this damage by using its Action to make a DC 16 Dexterity check to extinguish the flames.

Reactions

Uncanny Dodge. When Sironas is hit by an attacker that she can see, Sironas can use her Reaction to halve the damage from the attack and any other attacks that hit her until the beginning of her next turn.
