Chapter Three: The Scales Tip

During the first formal meeting of the Clipped Wing coalition headed by Arthak Saurfang at Storemreaver Spire, Caria made quiet a first impression by dropping the deceased body of the elven grand magister, Belo'vir Salonar, into the middle of the gathered orcs and Legion representatives. She explained that it was proof her abilities and a gift, as she had been sent by Kil'jaeden himself. She also seemed to know Nyxxa quite well, as she gleefully greeted the satyr and spoke with the familiarity of an old friend, though Nyxxa herself was unable to recall who Caria was.

However, her assassination of Belo'vir ultimately drew the Thalassian Resistance into a brief attack on the Spire.

Following the conclusion of the attack, Caria sought out Nyxxa, though was saddened by the fact the satyr did not seem to remember her. She expressed her fury that the Slayer had cut Nyxxa down--an action that had ultimately spurred Caria to leave the Illidari as well due to her belief that the Slayer would lead them all to their deaths in the fight against the Legion. She also expressed that this was their chance to make a new order to turn the techniques of the Illidari against them. Together. A notion that left Nyxxa in a degree of shock, and Caria assured her they could speak of it later.

Instead, she took the opportunity to show Nyxxa the Aldrachi warblades that her lord Kil'jaeden had gifted her, and they agreed to forge new memories together before Caria took her leave.

Later on, Caria was sought out by Nyxxa, this time in the company of Arthak Saurfang, who had wished to speak with her. In his questioning, Caria admitted that Kil'jaeden had not directly sent her, but she had volunteered on his behalf given the hotbed of events that were unfolding. Arthak offered a degree of partnership if she was intending on helping the Clipped Wing coalition by continuing to kill elven mages, and asked if she had sought out working with the Archival Authority of Argus while she was there. Caria admitted she had not, as Shaspira and Kil'jaeden did not really see eye to eye, but she would consider it as ultimately their goals were the same: the conquest of Azeroth.

Caria also admitted that she recognized Arthak's surname because she was familiar with the name Broxigar--who Arthak revealed had been his sire--though she didn't have much info to offer beyond that--and they agree to be contact further before they part ways.
